Hi! Happy Thursday My DD needed a quick gift for her boyfriend's parents. And since the Dirty Dozen theme this month is Beate I used one of her SCS tutorial videos (her candle is beautiful!): Stamping On Candles Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I followed the tutorial almost exactly (which I have used before but it's been a while and I needed a refresher ~ the tutorials on SCS really are invaluable Thanks so much to Beate!) except I used white ink to stamp the image on the white tissue paper ~ it's hard to see it on the tissue, but it shows up beautifully on the blue candle. Yay! Don't you love it when that happens
Also, today's Ways to Use It challenge was Tags so I used a seashell that already had a hole in it for my tag ~ my DD just wrote 'From' and her name on it with a Sharpie.
The webbing is sticky and self-adhesive so I sprinkled sand and glitter on it. For the pearls I used a dab of stickles as glue and my heat gun for just a sec to heat the wax so it'd hold onto the pearls better.
Less than a week to go now before C'mas!! I'm so excited! I hope you have a wondrous day today getting ready for the Savior's birth

What a beautiful candle (I've popped it over into the gallery for candles, so more people will find it!). The blue colour is a wonderful background to those coral images, and the little shell makes a sweet tag. What a great gift this will be.
