I needed a quick card for someone hubby works with and I thought this is such a great sketch! Thank you Ally!
I didn't change a whole lot, just moved the vertical pannel to the left side. I was going to use the twine up the whole side, but it didn't work out, so I colored three pearls with Copic marker E79. I also added stickles to the ornaments. Merry Christmas to all!

Very nice Christmas card! I love that it is not red and green. :-) The bare branched tree is so evocative of winter and the three ornaments add just the right touch of festivity!

You titled your card appropriately, Kathleen....it does have a serene and calm feeling. Beautiful colors and I like the "spark" the red and green ornaments give to the otherwise subdued color palette. The whip stitching detail between the panels is a creative touch.
