Sounds like she needs lots of happy thoughts to get her thru this trying time---One never forgets but does get easier as time goes on. On su white card base put thru swiss dot eb folder, layered a Tim Holtz butterfly die cut, colored the butterflies with distress inks and then put just the butterflies thru eb folder, and added half pearls to each butterfly. Then used eb folder that think are poppies to do floral image that I then water colored and cut to fit card with a strip of blue on each side and put half pearl in center of each flower. Will add sentiment to inside before sending in mail.

So cool!!! I love how you layered the elements with your embossing! The distressed edges on the butterflies is really adding dimension and I love the soft coloring! Beautiful card DonnaJeanne!!!

Oh Donna! (great...now Ritchie Valens is running through my head LOL) Outlining those butterflies in a dark shade took more nerve than I have and you knocked it out of the park!!! WOW! I LOVE being here!! Your layout is exquisite!!!
