Dusty dog and ole Curt are "groovin" to the drums, as in Bongo Drums! Seems Curt found these at a garage sale and they just went perfect with today's Teapot theme. Don't cha just love when that happens!
Actually Curt found lot's of fun things at the sale like his necklace minus the peace sign but it was real cheap! His tie dyed t-shirt and the sunglasses they both have on. He just had a ball at that sale getting ready for today.
Aren't they just a darling site! I am sure Kyla will get a kick out of this one.....details...
Curt and Dusty dog were drawn, colored then cut out and layered with black to make them stand out.....like they need help with that one. hehe
The sentiment is from the computer, printed cut out, layered with black then popped up.
The background was made my putting several colors of acrylic paints on my palette pad then smashing my cs and swirling it around over the paint.
The first print was a bit much, so I used another piece of paper over the same paint and the end results were perfect. Drew on the peace signs and music notes after popping up Curt and Dusty dog.
There you have it. We, Curt, Dusty dog and me, sure love our Tuesdays! Hope you do too!.....TFL :0)

Wow, Cathy - this is a real work of art! I need more time to look at it properly to enjoy all the details; even after reading your write-up I'm sure I've missed a few. The background is super-fantastic, thanks for sharing how you created that. And Curt and Dusty look great with their black "shadows".

Way cool, man! I'm digging that tripping background! Those bongos were made for Curt, ya dig? I can picture him in a cafe reading his poetry with Dusty Dog by his side! Great card, my friend! Why do I keep thinking of the bongo dude from Dobie Gillis?
