I cut the lace oval 3 times to add depth, and die cut it once more with the gold paper to use the thin gold oval inside the frame. (There are 3 parts to the die, so VERY useful).
The gold paper is too fine on it's own so I spray glued it in half and it was perfect for rolling the blossoms. One sheet was enough for several more flowers and the background mat. I die cut the candle 3 times so it really stands out in the frame. I punched some white MS branches to add interest in the flower spray.

Exquisite is definitely the right adjective!

Sandie, This is stunning! I bought this candle die because of your gorgeous Sepia Candle, last year (it's one of those hard-to-forget cards). You've done it again - wowing me by turning a simple candle into a work of art! your flowers are amazing and the gold trim and holly - just beautiful!
