the sketch challenge today was very easy to work with and I love the outcome of my card....after stamping image, I coloured used W & N watercolour paints, sponged the edges with always artichoke, old olive and night of navy to try to get as close to dp colour as possible....I then added stickles... I tore whisper white paper to look like snow and added stickles....(that was to cover up a mistake.. while the stickles were still wet and adding stickles to hat and buttons, my finger rubbed against bottom and smeared the sponged area)..thus, I had to cover it up....I like it better though with the snow..
Thanks for taking a peek....hope you like it....

Oh, this looks like a pretty mistake to me, Alice, and nobody would have known if you didn't reveal it! Beautiful sponging & coloring, and I just love that whimsical frosty looking dp! Your snowflake with the pearl is a nice finish to this snowman card~

Marie-Alice your card is adorable and beautiful at the same time. Cute snowman and I like the bright red with the olive green. Your coloring of the snowman is so well done and I like the green shading that you added to the edges of that panel.
