Hey!! Look at this! THREE CHALLENGES IN A WEEK, Y'ALL!!! Not surprised, though. I've upped my coffee intake and it tends to boost the ADD meds, so I'm pretty much making cards incessantly, only to break every once in a while to run wildly around my house singing Katy Perry's Last Friday Night and feeling awfully pleased that, after several months of listening closely, I finally figured out she's saying "Menage a..." Oh. Sorry. Ahem. I LOVED this challenge! I'm hoping I didn't accidentally break a rule by using Wild Wasabi papaer and not the ink BUT, if I did. PLEASE let me know!! I dry embossed the Wild Wasabi with cherry blossoms, then used Scotch foam mounting tape on every, single layer! I like the 3D effect but, to be honest, I really like playing with adhesives. Especially tape. After cutting the black oval frame, I brayered my birds and flourishes dry embossing folder with Daffodil Delight and ran the SU! Vanilla cardstock through it. My image is from Graphic 45's Bird Song. I fussy cut the gorgeous girl, sponged her edges with SU! Basic Black, then mounted her on the frame. Next, I took a Spellbinders label, stamped a piece of the calligraphy in gold pigment ink then embossing it with detail gold. Two green embellishments finished the project. If you've gotten THIS far, TY so much for taking an interest and MUCHO THANKS TO KAREN, not only for her hard work here but for putting up with people like me, who are completely mental. HA!
