Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge is to find inspiration from Horchow....I fell in love with these gorgeous table linens. This week's Queen for the Day is Beverly aka ruby-heartedmom.....congrats, Beverly!!! I wanted to try the stained glass technique as Beverly did on this beautiful card. I tried using one stamp as she did, but it didn't turn out well, so I used the 'Ornate Background' stamp instead. The background was stamped with Versamark onto white vellum, then heat embossed in white. The underside was sponged in light purple ink, then the designs were highlighted with green and purple markers, then adhered to a white mat. This will be a birthday card for a dear friend, so I added a sentiment as well.
Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

Lovely and elegant and a wonderful take on our Queen! I especially the play of elements...the bold stained glass background with the bakers twine. Just lovely, Angella.

Oh Angella......this is a real jaw-dropping card. Glad you gave us a step-by-step on the background. Doesn't sound so daunting the way you've described it.
Just beautiful.......I'm sure your friend will be thrilled.
