This is my card for this week's Mix-ability challenge. I didn't have any feather stamps so I inked up some real feathers with white pigment ink to create my feather images. I love how it turned out, but it feels too clean for mixed media.

How very clever to use real feathers for stamping - it looks so lovely, too. The contrast between the real black ones and the white stamped ones is so effective.

To me those white stamped feathers give a feeling of motion to the black ones. It is like the black ones are swaying on the twine. Great effect and a lovely card!

Truly a great card. The stamped real feathers came out lovely and the beads are wonderful with the feathers. Thanks for playing in the MIX 43 Challenge with us this week!
