Cindy's challenge over at the CCEE Stampers this week is a fun one - glitter + either dry or wet embossing.
I absolutely loved this card that Charlene made for HYCCT, and thought I could use embossing and glitter to create snow in a similar scene.
I used Kitty Kits The Moose is Loose with plenty of masking and sponging. Then I held it up to the light and traced the outline of the cabin and snow on the back of the card, so that I could see where to manually emboss the Swiss Dots folder for the sky only. I added Stickles to all my embossing and the snowdrifts, and Liquid Pearls on the roof. One tree is popped up and glittered.
I added a punched border and some seam-binding and some narrow black and silver ribbon. Paper is BG Aspen Frost, size is 5 3/4".

Holy Toledo! What a lot of work but it really paid off producing this gorgeous scene! I love that sparkly falling snow and the inviting cabin. I would feel at home there I'm sure!
