I finally am back after a long time away. It has been a crazy last 6 months but hopefully things have settled down. This card is going out to Evelyn a fellow tea potters mother who will be 91 years young in a few more days. We were to make cards with lots of colour and irises. I don't have any iris stamps so I used the poppy for SU and tried to make it colourful. I hope she has a wonderful birthday. It is good to be back

YOU have been on my mind this past week and I was wondering what happened to you - since I had not seen you in awhile on SCS. You look so much (your picture) looks so much like a friend of mine, Martha. nfortunately she passed on a few months ago. But you two could be twins - she looked so much like you.
Changing the subject - your card is lovely and I love the single red rose! Just beautiful! Welcome back!!

How lovely to see you, Faith! I really appreciated that you hosted the Tickle a Teapotter challenge in the middle of all that was going on for you.
I love poppies, so I'm glad to see this one blooming in Evelyn's birthday garden. The embossed layer and the punched lacy border make it look so pretty and dainty.
