Cindy is on a sabbatical at the moment but as our November hostess over at CCEE Stampers she has left some fun challenges lined up, and this week it's Stitches.
Something I use a lot , so this time instead of getting my sewing machine out I just did those little x stitches which I love on other peoples cards.
WSD image stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks. Stickles on the star. Shhh, I forgot that distress inks can run under Stickles and I had my card upright and sure enough the yellow ran. So I made a larger halo effect round the star ;-).
I stamped the sentiment and cut it into a bannder shape. Corner punch is threaded with two strands of regular brown thread, which I also used for my stitches.
If you want to get stitchy you can join us by linking on the blog or using the keyword in your SCS gallery.
