Wow, woke up to a winter wonderland this morning---first snow is always the prettiest! On hauser green card base put thru eb folder layered the background which is a map of Minnesota--partly hidden by the like post card of Minnesota, with the common loon, and other images on it, cut out with fancy scissors. All were colored with water color pencils, tombow and other markers, distress inks, and added stickles here and there. Found the 2 other images on color pages also, shrunk and printed and cut out.

Get outttt!!! How fun is this?!? What a perfect card for Peggy! Your postcard image with the Twin Cities skyline and your dual corner treatments (LOVE!) will warm the heart of any Minnesotan. Nice BG paper too. Thanks so much for coming to Peggy's Teaparty this week..now go and get some extra barn cookies - you've earned them with all of your loons!

Give me a break. Who has a special Minnesota stamp? I suppose there is probably one for every state. We don't have that kind of great patriotic stuff here in Canada. Other than the maple leaf and of course snow we don't lay claim to much.
I love your postcard. It really has it all there and a lake and loon to boot.

What a great collection of images and beautifully coloured. I see you're going for plenty of extra cookies with more than one loon ;-). The sparkly one looks wonderful!!
