I started by inking the Sizzix ef with different distress inks, then put it through the Cuttlebug and mounted it on the island indigo card base. The birch trees were diecut, sponged and mounted on the BG panel. Diecut the birdhouse from going gray, as I don't have smoky slate, popped it up with foam tape over the twine bow. The sentiment was stamped with pool party and riding hood red, torn and popped up with foam tape. My dessert would be die cutting, as I'm pretty spoiled with all of the wonderful dies out there now!

This is such a pretty card...I love the serene feel that your birches in snow imparts. Your gentle sponging and perfect EF complete this lovely wooded scene.

That little birdhouse hanging from the birches is just so adorable! Beautiful card!

Gorgeous Sue. I love all your die cuts and textures for your pretty wintery scene. You did a great job of substituting colors too. TFS and playing my friend.
