I didn't do the challenge today, instead, I opted to make my DH, a veterans' day card. All my cs, is from a local craft shop. I used my printer/copier, to print a copy of the flag, onto my white cs. I used the stripes, as my bg, and I used the stars, for the sentiment and the roof of the cabin. I then stamped the trees, and the deer. I tore white cs, for the snow banks, and cut out the cabin. I used glue dots, to mount the cabin, to the striped bg. I mounted the scene panel, to the green cs. I added smoke coming out of the chimney, with a silver geli pen, then added white stickles. I used white out, and white stickles on the tree branches, as snow. I used a turquoise pencil , to add definition, to the torn edges, of the snow. I added white stickles, for sparkle, and the sentiment, to complete my card. My, DH, loves to deer hunt, and he loves the mountains, and camping, so he was my inspiration today. He really liked his card. I enjoyed making this one. Thanks so much for looking.

This is a wonderful way to honor your dh and all of our veterans for their service. I think your card is awesome! I love how your incorporated our flag and yet personalized it to your dh. I'm sure he liked his card very much! Love how you used white out on your trees with the stickles. It really looks like snow laying on the branches. Your cabin with the smoke looks really good too. And, the way you gave depth to your snow looks great. You can tell the ground isn't just flat. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful card.
