Joan thanks for the fun challenge today. Love the look of paper piecing. Today I took a digi and paper pieced it with gelli prints, which I have many of.....
Printed out the digi on regular typing paper and cs. Used the reg. paper one to trace over on my gelli prints to do the paper piecing.
Found a few smudges on my panel so started adding the odd shape circles using a stencil and gel pens.
The border was done with an acrylic paint pen I just got.
Things were looking a little plain and white so I took out a pen and started adding the tiny dots. Still too white so I took out my chalk pastels and chalked the sky in......still needed a little something. Found a piece of cs that I had punched a flower out of so I used it as a stencil to put some design in the sky. Hope you can see it.
My panel was put on another gelli print that I cut to size and then sponged the edges. The card was a blue card so I took a word stencil and sponged it on using light ivory acrylic paint.
Put everything together...hmmmmm needed one more thing. So I added the "Dream" which is in the bg only now you can see it.
Finally, done......Well that wraps up another one. TFL :0)

Cathy, your cards always bring a smile....love your descriptions too. Haven't most of us had a smudge that we had to deal with when we don't feel like redoing the whole thing....know I have. : ) Love your honesty....YOU make me smile.

This is so sweet, Cathy. I know what you mean about adding additional elements to cover up smudges (or goof ups in my case). I love your paper piecing and the bright cheerful colors. Makes me smile :-)
