A big CONGRATS to Marion! She has such a fab gallery, I know she LOVES the sketch challenges and she always leaves such nice comments! I was inspired byTHIS. As soon as I saw the JOY image, I knew just which one to use. I also used the same Christmas colors, but I used different papers, different layout and used a bow instead of the poinsettia and moved it below the image.
After stamping the image, coloring w/ Copics and die cutting, I die cut some pieces using a curved border die then layered them. All of the stripe and dk green pieces are dp but the lighter sand bg was stamped w/ a matching image & desert sand ink. The seam binding bow was also colored w/ copics, a button and some baker's twine added.
Congrats again, Marion! Enjoy your day! Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Very pretty. Funny, we both used the word JOY on front of our cards. : ) Like your woody much better though. Cute! Love the curves in your card too. TFS. : )

Julie, a beautiful Christmas card. You did a lot of delicate coloring on the "Joy" and it is exquisitely done. The curving bg panels add a wonderful feeling of movement to your card.
