I wanted to help honor our Queen for the day...DARA...come and join us. she has a wonderful gallery to peruse. I finally saw this card...Glorious birthday by Dara at Splitcoaststampers havent done masking at all and thought this would be a wonderful way to start. dara's was so pretty it caught my eye, so I tried that style and made it inot a Christmas card. I also tried embossing it too with putting a oval piece over it while I ran it through the cuddle-bug after designing it. I just happen to luck out and found a ribbon that went so well with the design....so fun..and on the inside I have a stamp that says...." The magic of Christmas never ends, It's greatest gifts are Family and friends...which is why I thought I would pull out a old hardly used " Family " stamp for the front.
Ty DARA for the idea and inspiration...enjoy your reign...so worth it you are...;0), and TY all for the visit...:0)

TY for casing me on QFTD challenge. I wasn't sure which card you were casing at first. I must admit, that is one of my favorites too. I love what you did with the texture and lovely ribbon detail.
Be blessed!

What a beautiful card, Wendy!! I just love your colors, the embossing and your image and sentiment which is colored to perfection, as well as your masking!!

This is so pretty, Wendy, and you're right about the bow going so well with your design! I love that swirly image, and it looks so festive inside the sponged oval! Great job for your first masking try~
