The photo above is my card on the left and its background on the right. Today's Mixed challenge is to add glitter. Wish I could capture the sparkle on the card. But since I had to tilt the background and change the lighting I added the separate background photo above.
This card is so much fun to create! I colored the background with watercolor paints, embossed with textured fades, added some DTP white ink highlights and brayered with stickles.
For the sentiment chalkboard I stamped the image with Memories white metallic ink which took almost 30 minutes to dry. The white smudges were done with Color Box Frost White pigment ink. Rubbed hard with a tissue to achieve the chalk dust look. Embellished with sparkle blue felt, felt rick rack and snowflake.
I love the thin layer of sparkle that brayering stickles creates. And it cleans up with soap and water without leaving glitter behind in every nook and cranny.

Isn't it amazing what our eyes can see, and a camera cannot duplicate. I'm so glad you showed the bg alone. Gorgeous!
