Masking has always been one of my favourite techniques and so this challenge is perfect. I had die-cut some Cheery Lynn sunflowers awhile ago and just couldn't bring myself to throw out the negative images. I just knew they would come in handy someday! LOL I sponged the petals in pumpkin and durango with the centre masked then sponged the centre with chocolate chip. The leaves and the bee are from Serene Sunflower. The sunburst (oh no not again!) is cut from DP and sponged with pumpkin pie and durango and everything was randomly stamped with the PSX crackle stamp.

The crackle texture adds so much to this, Sue. At first this made me think of a window, but as I look at it more it makes me think of old tiles. It's beautiful - and the centre of the flower is intriguing. The hydrangea punch is fantastic for that!

I love the way the crackle looks on your card. Don't apologize for the sunburst -- it looks marvelous. I love that technique and have used it several times myself in the past couple of weeks!

I love that crackle stamp - thought you'd done some wonderful new technique - it looks amazing. Never thought to use the negative die cuts as stencils- brilliant! This card is just super!

Love the design elements in your card - the window effect and starburst design give the illusion that the bee busted the glass to get to your luscious sunflower! The texture added to the center of the sunflower using the hydrangea flowers is so eye catching as is the folded end banner. So much to enjoy in this card, TFS!

Oh this is so interesting....lots of pretties to look at! Love the sunburst, and that's what sunflowers like best so it's very appropriate on this card, Sue! Pretty fall card~
