Lynn is hostessing the first of today's challenges as we wind up a month of fun and creativity in the HYCCT forum, and she's asking us to make a heart-shaped card or use hearts on our cards.
I had been looking through all my torn-out magazine pages trying to find what I wanted to make for Judy's "I Clearly Care" challenge. While I didn't find what I was looking for, I did find the template for this woven heart, so it wasn't a total waste of time .
A2 base. BG Basics Kraft stamped with IO Cover-a-Card Vines in Versafine Sepia, edges sponged with Walnut Stain. The woven heart is made with some old double-sided 12x12 paper, and I added some roses and leaves. The heart underneath is cut from a spare panel from my flip down stack dragonflies on Monday, which got wet. Spellbinders heart die and HA sentiment. There's a third smaller heart cut from the DP on the inside.

Oh Sabrina, this is beautiful...the woven heart looks amazing with your background of vines. Thanks so much for creating this amazing card for this challenge.

Cute, cute, cute! I really like the vines stamped against the background that looks like ledger paper.
You just took me back to a part of my childhood. I remember weaving hearts like this, probably for Valentine's Day but possibly for Mother's Day, and attaching two together to make a little basket from them. Good memories!
