For the teapotters costume party this week, I decided to dress as a cowgirl. I grew up on tv westerns and loved the honor code, plus my great grandfather is reported to have been a texas ranger..yes, both my father and myself were late in life babies..so it was before my home state of Oklahoma was a state that my great-grandfather was in his prime! I used 3 stamps, the cowgirl and sentiment are from Stampalicious! There is a bronco busting silhouette inside with another sentiment. I used watercolor pencils and water brush to color

I would be a cowgirl if I could get my feet into cowboy boots! I had two great pairs I bought in Texas, but I can't wear them anymore! Rats!! Your card is so cute, and the sentiment is wonderful!! TFS the info about your distant relatives!

I burst out laughing when I read the sentiment!! What a terrific card, I think you would make a great mini Texas Ranger. Terrific, fun card for some lucky teapotter

Great idea for the party to dress as a cowgirl - I love your story and your card is just fantastic with the watercoloured image, great title and I really love how you have circled the rope around the sentiment!!
