It's Thursday - so it's another challenge over with the CCEE Stampers. Anne has asked us to make a non-traditional card for Halloween (NO orange, black, green, or purple) - and even she admits this is a tough one ;-). Since I don't do Halloween I had to think quite hard to come with an idea, but when I remembered my one and only vaguely Halloween-themed stamp things started to come together.
IO Trick or Treat Birdhouse stamped on watercolour paper with versamark, embossed with clear EP, watercolour wash background with H2Os. I like the ghostly look of the white embossing resist with the blue background. I edged the panel with narrow tape and added gold microbeads.
Gold base embossed with herringbone ef and then partially embossed with white EP. Chevrons cut from adhesive tape and burnished with blue glitter.
If you want to rise to the challenge of a no traditional colours Halloween card be sure to link on the blog or use the keyword here at SCS .

Fantastic work on the non-traditional colors Halloween, Sabrina! Like the emb image and the resist watercolored bkgrd. I'll have to check out the challenge. I don't remember getting the feed as yet.

You did a great job on this card! I love the colors and technique you chose. And this was even tougher for you since you are not a Halloween girl. Well done!
