I created this card for a number of challenges. I am honouring Susie (susie australia) who has been crowned as our newest Queen for the Day and for today's featured stamper, Marie-alice (ladybug91743)
Here is Susie's card CAS141 Thank You and here is Marie-alice's card Floral Thanks
I used a similar layout and flowers. I created the designer paper that is behind the cone flowers. I used the kissing technique. I inked up the diamond backgrounder stamp with barley banana ink and then inked up the script stamp with really rust and kissed the stamps together. Cut the paper into strips, sponged edges of the strips. Placed over the white 5 1/4" square. Splattered ink overtop. Added the grass. Stamped on the sentiment three times - using my stampamajig. Flowers were coloured with copic markers. First the images was stamped with river rock ink and then coloured. Cut flowers out and placed over top of the striped background. Popped up the two larger floweers. Punched out the butterfly, sponged edges. Adherred to card and then glued on the rhinestone.
This is also for todays Hope you can cling challenge - to use the kissing technique and I am also putting it into this months Fan club - "Time" - The flowers and butterfly scene - reminds me of a beautiful, warm, sunny summer day...
Enjoy your time in the spotlight ladies..
Hugs..Pat
