oh, thank Heaven for scraps on the dream table! And to Wendy for today's Free for All challenge. I want to get back on the saddle of my artful life and so I'm aiming for a blitz of work here on SCS. However, I am a ponderer...well quite like this original Rodin Thinker and speedy is challenging for me.
Fortunately today, I found bits and pieces of this card in my TO B USED SOMEDAY box. The tag, the scrap of German foil, free tule, even the thinker. All I needed was the headache paper. And no one does wild better than Basic Grey! Credit for the fun quote goes to Dontay Hall, who was 8 when someone thought to take this down for prosperity! I am grateful.
Thanks so much for reading, hope I didn't give you a headACHE! Have a wonderfully creative weekend, all.

Love your card and that fun background! Even more fun are those wonderful kid's quotes and so much truth to it too! Speedy isn't my thing either so I can relate. Great card for this challenge!

Haven't seen you in the gallery for a while -- glad you're back! I'm sure there's more truth in that sentiment than we would like to believe. I like the swirly DP in the background.

Great card Susan! I love the quote, those are great stamps, and your carefully chosen elements to go with.
Good to see you back in the gallery. I am just getting back to stamping after a hiatus as well. Today I am enjoying this glorious sunshine between the sniffles and sneezes of a prolonged autumn allergy attack! LOL! Maybe I can stamp after the sneezes abate. ;)

Susan, I'm glad I am not the only one who welcomes you and your creative talents back to our galleries. What a cool way to use lots of color on that swirling background. Pairing that with the the thought-provoking sentiment and touch of tulle shows us you have not lost your touch. xo
