This card is for STYXROCKSME's neighbor who is active duty, but home due to injuries. I didn't know which branch of service, so I found a F-14 fighter jet. Some of you may remember the movie Top Gun, this is the jet they were flying.
I found a cool corrugated paper pack made by die Cuts with a View and used the purple for the mountains and the green for the rolling hills. The two larger clouds are die cuts, I just added the lines, speckles and a little shading.
On the inside I will thank him for his service and tell him a little of mine. Thanks so much for taking a look!

What a wonderful card for him! Love that fighter jet image you used and how you accented the clouds! Clever use of the corrugated paper to create the mountains too. Another great card and no clue how you do SO many each and every day.

What a great card for this soldier! I love the fighter jet soaring over the clouds and the purple mountain majesty! (that corrugated paper is cool too, must find some of that!).

Kathleen, I love this fighter jet and the scene of purple mountains majesty and green rolling hills! The sun peeking out from behind the clouds is so cheerful!

Wow this is FANTASTIC. I loved that movie and the F-14 is my all time favourite aircraft. Your colouring is terrific, love the glowing afterburners!!! The coloured correlated board looks great, and the dark background sets everything off. Another winner my friend.
