I used today's CC (chocolate chip, real red, Bermuda bay) to make my card for the Teapotter challenge. We are sending cards to an injured solider who is receiving medical treatment.
I didn't have a pick up truck to color/cut red, so I used red planes on my card. I stamped a HA aviation bkgrd, LKR grove of trees, Neat & Tangled solid line at bottom, and after placing the die cut planes, clouds and dotty lines. Note that to give some dimension to the card, I cut the planes from a recycled box, then SU real red cardstock and adhered them together.
Greeting inside says:
"Thinking of you from miles away" and a personal message.
Best wishes and prayers for this courageous soldier.
Thank YOU for looking today!

My first thought before reading this is that I love the dimension in the clouds and planes! Clever to use a cereal box to accomplish that and something I must try! Wonderful card Gabby!

You have used a great collection of stamps to create this special card for one of our wounded soldiers. Great design with all of your stamps and thanks for sending this to one of our troops.

Awesome card Gabby! You really make the coolest backgrounds! The clouds look wonderful in the Bermuda Bay and the planes are awesome in the real red! The row of trees look fantastic too! I think you should get extra cookies for recycling too!
