Tim Burton's sense of creepiness always fascinates me, so I tried copying his scarecrow pumpkin head from Sleepy Hollow.
I found a picture online on my iPad, and traced the basic shape onto a thin sheet of paper. I laid the paper over my card stock and cut it out with a stylus. Then I made grooves in the pumpkin with the broad end of a bone folder and darkened them with sponged on black ink. I distressed the edges, placed a black piece of card stock behind the openings, and added a few highlights with a gelly roll pen.
Thanks for looking.
