I am such a traditionalist for Christmas colours so when this week's Merry Monday challenge said to use red, pink, dark green, light green, and white in our Christmas card, I was stumped. I decided to check my stash of dp first in case there was something and sure enough, I found this poinsettia dp by Memory Box (shows how little I use my dp when I don't even remember what I have).
It inspired me to use the Bells and Boughs poinsettia stamp. I painted one of the poinsettias with red and the other two with pink, and then the poinsettia leaves in light green and the pine bough in dark green. The tiny sentiment is stamped in pink. The centres of the poinsettias are done with Ranger liquid pearls. It's layered on light green and dark pink shimmer cs, and the cardbase is the dark pink.

Yeah, Susan! This was a fun color combo wasn't it? Love the pink and red poinsettias and the two kinds of greenery worked out perfectly! Thanks for sharing with us again at Merry Monday!
