 | | Jenn brought us a fun technique for today's Technique Lover's Challenge that I couldn't resist. Good thing my DD's school (where she's taking one class so we're following their schedule) had a fog day cancellation so I didn't have a full day of homeschooling to fulfill. Jenn suggested an open stamp for the technique and I thought of this pear. I stamped the pear and the leaves in Whisper White then embossed with white ep. I masked over them and stamped the script bg. I used the watered down white ink first to paint my pear then proceeded to add layers of color. Wish I'd used watercolor paper as I ended up with pilling (my 11yo DD said she likes how it turned out because it looks rustic!) I distressed my edges, sponged a bit of Crumb Cake on then added some watercolored shadowing. I wrapped my dp with fiber ala Pam/Bailmac and popped my panel over this. I created two notched banners and distressed them lightly popping them over the fibers.
