This card was made in honor of Queen Susie QFTD183... whom I have become friends with through Splitcoast. I was inspired by the stacked dies backed with DP. Her card is vertical and mine is horizontal. We both added flowers but I chose not to add a bow. Her sentiment is on a sponged panel and mine is on an added die cut. Both cards are oversized.
Here is her AMAZING card: Happy Mother's Day by PaperPunchScissors at Splitcoaststampers
This is also for my good friend of 25 years Jo Jo. This year is “one of those decade” birthdays and I wanted it to be very special! Inside it says “Good Friends Remember Your Birthday, But Forget Your Age”.
Outer die is Spellbinder Timeless Rectangle
Middle 2 dies are Spellbinder A2 Filigree Delight that I cut at our die club and I do not own them.
The leaves are Cheery Lynn Design
The Design Paper is something I downloaded from the internet and printed (my first time doing this!).
The roses are from a Quilling kit (Quilling Creations from Hobby Lobby a long time ago) and I hand rolled them.
SU Old Olive cardstock and ink
half pearls
Star Dust Stickles (their baaaaack!)
Unknown sentiment
LOTS of dimensional under every die
This card is 6.50x4.50 I had to make a card base by cutting a piece 6.50 and one 6.75. I scored the extra quarter inch and glued it to the 6.50 card to make the base.
EDIT! I just saw that Susie is also the new Featured Stamper FS347 and since I just made this today I am adding it to this gallery as well!
Thank you for taking the time to look!

I'm totally infatuated with the beautiful baby rose print of the dp. Boy don't we love us some Pinterest! OMGoodness it's pretty. And the dainty rolled roses - I. love. them. I know I've said before how much I like the fancy filigree dies from Spellbinders, but, honestly they really can set the stage for a card like this. And you my friend, can really wow us with your layered creations! What really blesses me is that each and every card you create goes to someone. Now that's a kind and generous spirit. Thank you Peggy, for taking the time in your busy weekend to think of me and play along in this challenge.

Oh Peggy, another jaw dropper. This is so beautiful and delicate. What a wonderful way to honour Susie. The hours you spend making a card is the reason they are all so incredible, full of warmth and love. Another "Peggy" creation in My Favs.
