Susie has a beautiful gallery. Her use of colored pencils is amazing; well, it should be, she has won art awards for colored pencil. Very jealous of her abilities. I chose this card to CASE: O' Christmas Tree by PaperPunchScissors at Splitcoaststampers
I knew I wanted to keep the tree and the CAS design but what to do? How could I change the card enough and still honor her design? Then I received my daily email from StampingMatilda and I had my answer. Her Sunday email is always about using up scraps from the week and she made a Christmas tree out of really cool painted paper which she rolled into little logs. So that's what I did.

You have such a creative eye; everything you make has a look so unique to you. Your paper 'logs' are such a fun way to make a Christmas tree, and it looks great on the kraft background.

So cool! I actually thought you had used real little logs on some of the layers! Smart idea and wonderful case! Hugz!
