I applied crumpled up tissue paper to the backing layer and then applied 2 coats of acrylic paint. I then rubbed on some aqua crayons and rubbed with my finger. To have more of the cracks show up I used Inka gold metallic paint in copper. The "family" pictures are actually photo stamps from Oxford Impressions which I stamped on glossy paper with StazOn. Oh, Polly, as soon as I saw this in the gallery I knew it was yours. I love how the tissue BG turned out giving a vintage feel for the family tree. Such a great card for both challenges.

You stamped those photos? WOW talk about perfect stamping. I would have sworn they were printed. This card is fabulous and love your tissue background! I'm still in awe of those images!

Gorgeous! I love the colors you chose for the background technique. It frames the family tree so well but doesn't take over the piece. Thanks for playing with the Mix35 challenge!

Pol! Of course you have the MOST fabulous photo stamps!!! They are so cool and really look like you chopped up your treasured vintage photos! LOVE the tree (that is such an awesome die cut!) and the way you have different colors looks so pretty! Your background is wonderful and I think you selected a wonderful sentiment! VERY creative!!!!
