 | | A birthday card for my son-in-law, who is a bike enthusiast. As a matter of fact, he doesn't own a car. I used a mixed media technique loosely following a video that Dina Kowal had posted on the MIX9 thread. I was also inspired by tessaduck's card seen here TLC438 metal tape by tessaduck at Splitcoaststampers
Embossed purple cardstock, attached a strip of drywall tape on the right. Die cut two bicycles, glued them together for dimension, glued them to the card. Then I used a foil inner lid from a yogurt container, glued it over the bicycle and pressed with my fingers to reveal the dimension underneath. Then dabbed a turquoise gelato straight onto the foil. Added a sentiment and an arc of silver brads. |
