This is the card I made to honor today's Featured Stamper, Shannon White. What an incredible talent! I had to find a card that wasn't gorgeously colored, as I am sadly lacking in that department! But after long minutes spent drooling over such fabulous cards, I chose this beautiful one as inspiration:
I kept the theme and colors, but used a stencil since I don't have that beautiful cutting plate. My added snowflakes are in the embossed panel instead of falling among the trees. I chose not to add a greeting at this time, because I think it would be perfect as a card for a Muslim friend of ours who always sends us holiday greetings.
After sponging chalk ink through the stencil, I added some light detail with colored pencils before misting it fairly heavily with a frost shimmer spray. I added the birds and matted it with the SB Lacy Square. The embossed panel and the contrasting strip are adhered directly to the card base; the focal image is attached with foam mounting tape.
I'm pleased with how this turned out, and Shannon, I hope you like it!
As always, thanks for looking!

This is absolutely gorgeous! Love your trees and the way you've off-set the panel on your card.
