Had a great day with Karen (redbugdriver). We always experiment and learn something. Today we used our old background techniques on glossy and got some fun results with dye inks and water. I've had this stamp for a long time and decided to try and use it. This was so fast and fun. Inked the mat with distress inks, sprayed with water and smooshed the glossy cardstock through it. Stamped the image and sentiment in Memento black.
Thanks for looking

Your "smoosh" worked out so wonderfully, Nancy! It certainly looks like rain to me, so you chose the right image here! Love this and the sentiment is perfect~

Lucky you, getting to stamp and spend time with, Karen, and she's lucky to get to stamp with YOU! This is fabulous, great use of technique, very creative! And I've always loved this sentiment.

You really did a great background of rain....looks super. And, wonderful stitches you added, too. Have a great day. Glad the sun is shining at my house. :-)
