This is my card for QFTD179. to honor a former Queen whose screen name begins with the letters t-z. I chose to honor Bev (texasgrammy) with this creation inspired by Bev's beautiful card here: CTSEPT Bloomin' Fall by TexasGrammy at Splitcoaststampers
Bev always creates such beautiful flowers, and the fall colors on her card are gorgeous. I chose different colors (but still reminiscent of fall) because this is a thank you card for the friend who provided the fabulous material I used to make the flowers. She generously provided me with an array of fabric and lace scraps after I told her about having none to use for a recent MIX challenge.
The fabric was adhered to cs with spray adhesive and cut with TH Tattered Florals, then coated with Mod Podge to prevent any fraying. I mounted the large bloom on HA Floral Lace doily die cut and added some greenery with Die-namics Fancy Flourish. The background was created with SB Majestic Labels Twenty-Five, adhered to 7gypsies paper. The inner label was cut from the same paper and stamped with a Stampendous script stamp using VersaFine Vintage Sepia.
Bev, it was a pleasure to create this card in your honor. I hope you like it!
As always, thanks for looking!

You should be writing tutorials!! You use some of the most original, innovative techniques I have seen! And to think I gave the last of my fabric to a quilter- bummer! Love how this looks and that wonderful, rich color red! This is so gorgeous! Right into favorites!
