When we have out-of-town visitors, we love to take them to Jerome, AZ, about 2 hrs. from our home. The copper mines of this town, which is basically built on the side of a mountain, closed down in the early 50's. Most residents moved out, leaving 50-100 folks who made an effort to eke out a living promoting it as a ghost town. Over the years, they slowly turned it into a quaint, funky community with many artists and interesting shops and history.
It's impossible not to take tons of pictures every time I go there. This is the right side of a dps I did from a trip we took when our Australian friend was visiting from Sydney back in 2005.

Wow! I love your layout. Your colours and embellishments are great. And when we go to AZ to visit family next year, I really want to go to Jerome. Thanks for sharing!

I love your pages and I love Jerome. Got there a couple of times while our daughter was living in Flagstaff. It is definitely a picturesque town. You've got some great memories in these pages.
