I've posted two cards in my gallery today - both are for two challenges. This one is for The Inspiration Challenge and the Mix-Ability Challenge.
I was inspired by this Akimbo Classic Wallpaper from the Eskayel web store for my background. I sponged two distress inks onto a white panel then dropped large areas of water onto different areas and held up the panel to let it drip down. I toweled off the excess then blew it dry with my hot gun - the drips turn whiter as you dry it.
I die cut the panel with a Labels 18 Nestie and layered it to the white card base with foam dots.
I stamped the florals using the same colors as the background using stamps and dies from W Plus 9 that I just got after seeing so many beauties here and in blog land using this set!
I adhered the florals onto the panel - some flat and some on foam dots.
I love how this background came out - you never really know how the water will fall with this technique!
