Julie chose Gabby(Gabalot) as this week's featured stamper. Gabby has a great gallery filled with wonderful cards. I remember her saying that this was one of her favorite images(don't know if she has a new favorite since then). That is why I chose this CARD of hers. I always found the image depressing and gave away my die, but before doing so, I did die cut several images in black and white and saved the "blanks" as well. This is one of those blanks. It is obvious all the things I changed about Gabby's original, but I did use "the man". : )
Congratulations, Gabby....enjoy your well-deserved week in the spotlight.

Sallie, you go girl! You turned that frown upside down and brought the sunshine into his life and ours too. I smiled when I saw the sun.

I noticed Gabby used this image several times in her gallery. It is a real favorite of mine. Wonderful background for a great silhouette stamp. All the water marks make your card appear as if it too has been out in the rain.

Fabulous bg to the negative die-cut silhouette, Sallie - the blue and yellow make a happy, bright colour combo so there's no worries about it being depressing!

Oh, you did Gabby proud (and the man too), Sallie. This is fabulous, and I agree with Bridget - nothing depressing about this. The bright sun after a rain, so refreshing. Love it.
