My card today is for two challenges - Friday's Mix-Ability Challenge - to use fabric and at least 2 different medias and today's Inspiration Challenge which is the Monsoon clothing web site
So - I used some striped blue and dotted red fabric that I had sitting in a bag - purchased for a long forgotten project. I die cut a square and two circles and adhered them to a square of card stock using Mod Podge. I also brushed over the top of the fabric panel with the Mod Podge and let it dry. Then I adhered it to the card base and layered a die cut square frame over it with foam tape. The candle is an older Sizzix die. I layered a yellow flame over white base, colored the wick and flame center with Copics and brushed Glitter Glaze over it for some sparkle! To finish it off - I adhered a die cut BIRTHDAY onto the frame with a glue pen and stamped MAKE A WISH in the corner!
Accessories: fabric - JoAnn's, candle sizzix die, birthday die - PTI, square and circle Nestabilities. Matt Mod Podge, Glitter Glaze Sheer Sparkle - MFT, Copic - YR04, 01 Fine tip black Micron Pen

Beautiful card! So much fun! Great "birthday" die! I think one of my favorite things about making cards is I get to dig into my "past crafty life" supplies and use them on cards!

wow this is fantastic... what a great job you have done with the fabrid... the navy blue panel also looks like fabric... love the CAS look as well as the frame over top of the candle.... also love the large sentiment with a smaller one below it... great job...
What struck me first in your card is the birthday die-cut - it is placed strategically on the card, and I love it! Love the candle and the use of fabric for bg, too!
