This week I chose to honor our very first Queen ever...it was none other than Mutnik (Cathy)! She is one of my heroes here on SCS..her cards are full of creativity from all angles..colorful, humorous, whimsical!!! Instead of choosing a particular card to CASE I did my own homage to Cathy's style. I noticed that she likes to put a lot of trailers, camping scenes, trees (and cows.. ..sorry I was afraid to take on her fabulous Curt) on her cards. I drew this scene, watercolored and outlined, then doodled a bit. I hope I captured some of her flavor. Here's to you Mutnik!

LOL Fantastic Pol! I was afraid to try and make a CURT too! You did a wonderful job re-creating her style w/o using Curt! LOVE your camping scene and the way you have the marshmellow on the stick coming into the scene is brilliant! Excellent card for Queen Mutnik!!!

You certainly did capture Cathy's style! Very cute card! I love her cards, too. Curt loves our Teaparties and always manages to show up in his one-of-a-kind cow attire. In fact, a few times he's come to them as an "altered" personality. Hee!

You captured it ALL in one scene Polly. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this card. It has inspired me so much I am itching to get back creating and uploading. Been so busy this summer and have missed my regular time here on SCS. Hopefully soon things will slow down and I can get back in the grove again. This camping scene is just a favorite of mine. I dream of actually getting one of those trailers and painting a scene with my favorite cow friend, Curt, on it. Wouldn't that be a hoot to see driving down the road! Again, thanks for honoring me today with this wonderful card. It means a lot to me. TFS :0)

Brave girl Polly, I wouldn't even try to case Mutnik, but you did a wonderful job! Looks a lot like her work!!
