Today on the Mix-ability challenge, Dina has us use air to move color.
I chose her second idea: Load up some watered down paint or ink on your paper, then blow it around with a straw.
Of course I didn't like any of my attempts so I tried matting and combining them and re-cropping .
I finally liked it when I added the butterfly and the embossed panel behind it.

I sort of thought it was a little bit more difficult to get nice results than I thought it was going to be. Maybe that is how we judge ours and think everyone else's is cool. Yours is cool!! I like how you have the line dividing your butterfly!!

I had a lot of trouble with this too, and gave up. I'm so glad you didn't. The results with the butterfly are wonderful!

I too really like the line. It draws the eye right to the focal image. The embossed background softens the strong colors and line just enough. It's beautiful!
