The finished size of the card is 5” x 7”. Cut an 8 ½” x 11” cardstock in ½. Cut 1 piece using 5” x 7” Matting Basics A - #7. On the 2nd piece - score the 4 ¼” side at ½” and crease. Lay the folded edge of the cardstock, on the 5” x 7” Die, so it doesn't quite meet the edge of the die and cut. This creates the hinge. Use “Red Line Tape” to adhere the 2 pieces together so the hinge is in the inside.

I use Hot Glue to assemble the flowers. The flowers are made using Rose Creation Dies and Bear Grass Vellum. Cut 2 from #2 and 1 from #1. Sponge edges in Pink Grapefruit. Form flowers by rolling the petals around a round plier and using the Flower Forming Toolkit to cup them. Glue petals together, alternating them. Glitter stamen in pink and glue together at the bottom. Glue stamen to the center of the flower. Set aside.
Flower Buds: Using “Bear Grass Vellum” and Die #1, cut out 1 flower for each bud. Sponge tips of the buds on the front and back in Pink Grapefruit. Roll petals around the pliers. Place bud, front facing down, on the forming mat and pull the petals to the center. Push down in the center to cup bud. Grab the bottom of the petals and hold them against the forming tool for a few seconds so they hold their shape. Then, take them off the forming tool and pinch the bottom so they stay together. Set aside.
