This is for Tenia Sanders Nelson's DTGD Challenge and another offering for the Mixability challenge to use pencils. I took a piece of watercolor paper that was used as a shim with my MBossabilities Asian folder so was lightly embossed. I laid two gingko leaves over this and sprayed with two different mists. I added some water to the larger dots of ink to cause them to run down. After removing the leaves I used a wet brush and ink from ink pad leaves to paint my leaves. I then took white and different green colored pencils to add definition to my leaves and used a marker to edge them and some shadow. I took my pencil to rub over the raised areas and then added definition to the "fan" elements in the leaves and bg. When i went to photograph the card, it still looked rather bare to me so I used a stencil to add some depth to the bg.

Amazing texture here, Gail - this is a card I'd love to be able to hold and feel. The leaves are fabulous! I sometimes see them on the ground near work, but I've never been able to spot the tree they come from.
