This is for two challenges...first the .first the Queen for a Day...this week it's all the J thru L names and since my friend Karen (k dunbrook) is in that range, I wanted to enter. Karen is known for her CAS, but sadly, I am not. So I went back to her earlier pages where she has some with layers and I cased THIS card. I kept her layout but turned it.
And for Karen's (karengiron) DTGD challenge as I had the pleasure of being on the Dirty Dozen with her. You'll need to be a Fan Club member to get all the dirt on the challenge, but that's easy..Fan Club info We have a DTGD Challenge Gallery 2013 this year so be sure to upload your creations there instead of the member gallery. Want to play along with our 41 Dare to Get Dirty challenges and win prizes from our Member Companies? Learn more here.
I stamped & colored the image using Copics. The gazebo as well as the heather layer were die cut w/ square dies. The lower panel of heather was embossed and added below w/ a gradient ribbon between the two. The greeting was die cut w/ an oval.
Thanks so much for looking! All the details are on my blog: The Write Stuff
