On looking through my DSP scraps, I realized I had two scraps with the same stripes--a blue and a red. I cut the 1.25" strips into 3" lengths and matched the stripes by laying the papers down on a piece of single sided tape. Then I trimmed the BG panel down to 5.25 x 4".
I stamped the Loving Thoughts sentiments on the distressed looking DSP strip and added it to the BG to help add some interest.
The focus panel was stamped with Chalk Talk, layered on Crushed Curry, then dimensionals. The red piece is two Decorative Label punches. I cut the center out of both to make them fit together giving me the size BG I needed for the focus piece. Then the whole thing is mounted on dimensionals.
I tried adding various ribbons and embellishments but couldn't find any that added to the overall design of the card.
