This, finally, is my primary card for Lee Ann's DTGD challenge.
I was recently looking through one of my embroidery books and came across this little rosebud on a button - and this challenge was a great opportunity to try it out, even if making a quilt to put behind it was a bit time-consuming! I used Jenna Barber's Quilted Card tutorial from Resources for that. Most of the papers are Basic Grey. I embossed it with Swiss Dots and layered it onto pink Bazzill.
Sentiment (crooked, I see) is Sincere Salutations and Spellbinders Fancy Tags. Organza ribbon was tied in a bow and heated (I've tried buying a UK seam binding which says it's the same as US, but it's nowhere near as soft and pliable) and then I added my little button - 5 bullion knots, and let me tell you that fiddly as they are on fabric, they are ten times more so on a button!

WOW! You have outdone yourself here, Sabrina! That rosebud is spectacular and I just adore the quilt! I am thinking quilt cards are the next big trend in cardmaking- I even saw quilt kits at Joanne's especially designed for cards. You are leading the pack with this winner! Thanks so much for playing along again!
