 | | This is for Lydia's second Dare to Get Dirty Challenge. I also saw this beautiful inspiration picture collage at Moxie Fab World. I remember being at my grandma's house and looking through a box of vintage postcards and Valentines that she'd collected. I'm pretty sure she gave me a couple of pieces that are probably up in my attic now! At any rate, I tried to get that feel of spreading out a bunch of treasures to look through in my collage card. I took an old envelope and cut it down to size for a card. I crumpled and sponged it and my other images too. I used a marker to ink up just the script portion of the tag stamp from Travel Post to make my return address and address. I had kept some cool stamps that came on a vellum envelope once and used my heat gun to loosen the stamp so I could put int onto my envelope. My base is embossed with Elegant Lines, distressed on the edges with the Distressing Tool, Sponged with Soft Suede and has some pearls added. I loaded up a pin with beads and pearls and added the cameo charm. I put a piece of crumpled, torn and sponged Blushing Bride dp as my 2nd layer. My images were stamped in Stamped off Timber Brown Stazon and colored with a wet brush and ink or sponged. |
