I know - this seems pretty out of character for a Kittie747 challenge! A friend asked me to make a couple of cards for great grandsons - ages 12 and 14. For me, this age is a REAL challenge - especially knowing little about the boys. This truck, a digi image, is for the 14 year old. I am happy with the yellow I chose. The bit of BG paper is from my scraps and has been there a long time! I have also had the CB die (Olivia alpha set) forever - for the sun. This is a background I have used before - the embossing reminds me of tire treads. I inked the inside of the folder with black ink, then ran it through the cuttlebug - I did several pieces at once so this is also from my stash. This cs seems particularly fragile, and kind of split into strips - which was ok for the look I wanted.

I think it is great that you took a girly challenge and turned it into a masculine kid card. Perfect way to think out of the box. The folder is perfect for the images. Thanks so much for playing in my challenge.
This is a great boy's birthday card!!! Love the background (especially the black inking), the colors and all the extras!!! It's perfect for the Cars, Trains and Planes challenge this week at QKR. Thanks for submitting this great creation! Good Luck
